Paraffin Gauze Dressing Kepong
Paraffin Gauze Dressing Kepong (vaseline gauze) are ideal for minor burns and wounds with superficial skin loss. It soothes and protects the wound to allow drainage onto a secondary absorbent dressing. For that matter, using paraffin gauze dressing can be proven as well as effective.
The paraffin gauze dressing is non-adherent, non-allergenic, and sterilized, which helps in speedy recovery of wounds used in the treatment of ulcers, burns, skin grafts, and various traumatic injuries.
What is the purpose of Paraffin Gauze:
- It facilitates drainage of the wound onto a secondary, more robust and absorbent dressing.
What is in the box:
- 10 dressings of 10cm X 10cm (individually packed)
Instruction of use:
- Peel open pouch, lift the dressing with sterile forceps & apply on cleaned wound.
How often to change paraffin gauze dressing:
- Change dressing daily or more often according to the condition of the wound.
Warning:
- Do not resterilise the contents
- Do not use if seal is broken or pouch is damaged
- For external single use only
- Store flat in a well ventilated place, away from sunlight, below 30 degree
