Cocoa Extract
Cocoa, or cacao, is the dried and fully fermented fatty seed of the fruit of the cocoa tree, It contains more phenolic antioxidants than most foods. Flavonoids, including catechin, epicatechin, and procyanidins predominate in antioxidant activity.
Oral flavanol supplementation in women, renders notably a slight increase in skin elasticity in the temples but not arms. ( ” oral flavanol ” here refers to cocoa extract).
